Update – Bayview Avenue Road Resurfacing Project

This spring, Transportation Services is preparing to resurface Bayview Avenue, from Roehampton Avenue to approximately 30m north of Armistice Drive. This project was initially planned to take place last summer but was unfortunately delayed during the tendering process.
 
The project scope includes repaving the roadway, replacing damaged sidewalks, and improving pedestrian safety at several intersections. To improve safety, Transportation Services will install tactile walking surface indicators, reduce curb radii, and realign crosswalks where required. There will also be an expansion of the west sidewalk between Blythwood Road and Sunnydene Crescent.
