Mount Pleasant Library Branch - Renovation and Expansion

I am pleased to announce that after several months of planning and consultation, the new Mount Pleasant library renovation and expansion project is now in the construction phase.

The project will include:

  • Relocation and expansion of the Children's area;

  • Revitalization of the main floor Adult area;

  • Increased seating options and space for quiet study; and

  • Renovation to ensure the branch is fully accessible.

Construction is anticipated to be complete by December 2021, and the branch will be reopened in early 2022. I look forward to the completion of this important project.
